Hello,
The MES mini-Car Racing Competition has been postponed until April 7, 2007. The decision came after we found it was best to work with the request from sponsors of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) National Programs Fund, to postpone the event in order to help us increase the success and impact of the competition. The NSBE National Programs Fund is a respected national grant program designed to help chapters fulfill their mission; MES was fortunate enough to have won a bid recently for the MES mini-Car Racing Competition. Part of this triumph came from the sponsors/volunteers like you who have impressed the National Programs Fund for your support. We apologize for any inconvenience that may have caused you but we are thrilled of the national attention it has gotten.
The competition will be a success and we have more support than ever. As we are making improvements, I request that you renew your support and be part of the prominence of this event. We will expand the competition to more high school students, Boston-area colleges students, and BU students. Please visit our website for up-to-date information and feel free to contact me if you have any question or concern.
Thank you for you time and support.
Best regards,
Billy Andre
